When on 25 January 1980 in Terrasa,Barcelona,Catalonia a simple boy born named Xavi, no one couldn’t even imagine that 31 years ago whole world will gladly say “Xavi Hernandez Creus, master of football, we love you.” .When he was a little boy he was looking at Barcelona’s great masters and just dreaming of playing football like they were doing, but he couldn’t think that one day he will be more than that players were and that from now on he will forever stay in the history of Barcelona as one of the cleverest and the one without whom we couldn’t imagine Barca’s today’s incredible game. So he is on the top of his career fame, money, fans, elite life but he is still the same kind, simple and little boy who grew up in Terrassa. And this is the most important thing, to stay who you are...

Xavi- a Catalan child who was born to become a shining star. A simple human, a great person, loyal friend, and a unique footballer. He is kind, clever, intelligent, lovely, handsome, friendly, and honest. He’s irreplaceable. The way he plays, the way he makes the game is amazing. Xavi is our Capitain along with Puyi and the talisman. The way he takes the ball, the way he passes it, the way he shoots a goal, that’s cule’s pride: Xavi’s little touch of magic on the ball. And he is a legend and a great footballer who will forever stay in Barca's and world football's history not only because of the things that he is doing on the field but also because of the person that he is in and out of the field.

For me, Barça is unconditional. Let’s just say that I’m playing at Arsenal, at Manchester, at Bayern Munich. I’d constantly be asking myself, ‘What’s happening at Barça?’ I’d be paying attention to what’s going on, who’s playing, what they are doing, how they are doing … I feel Barça. That’s the great difference from the people who don’t feel it. I love this club, I love it. I always say that I will never leave Barça until my career ends. I won’t go. I won’t go. Xavi<3

No, he's never yelled at me really. Well, during the matches he shouts a lot at me, because he warning me. He tells me that HIS pivot is out of position. He also tells the other guys one thing or another . . . But you know what? Pep and I see football through the same eyes. We're on the same wavelength.
